COMMUNITY: Toys For Tots Drive Starts In Kingman

Mohave County Supervisor Gary Watson and Kingman Mayor John Salem have helped
kick-start the 64th Annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive in northern Mohave County by donating toys to needy local children. The Kingman Detachment 887 of the Marine Corps League expanded its area this year where they will be providing toys to needy children to Wickieup and Truxton to the east, Yucca and Golden Valley to the west and north to the White Hills.
Don Olin, the local coordinator for Toys for Tots and head Elf in northern Mohave County, said they will also be providing toys for children in the Arizona Strip, Bullhead City and Mohave Valley this year.
For more information about the Toys for Tots campaign call (928) 754-2134 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays in the Bullhead City and Mohave Valley areas, and (928) 718-8697 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays for all other northern Mohave County areas.
