Kingman police have released the audio file of the telephone call a woman made when a pipe-wielding Kingman man tried to storm her home early last Sunday. The woman can be heard screaming at the intruder, 30-year-old William Bonnee, and sounds of the ensuing struggle with the 15-year-old son who came to the aid of his mother
at their home in the 3100 block of Thompson Avenue.

The audio file also includes the sound of seven gunshots fired by Mohave County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Davis, five of which struck Bonnee after he refused to drop his pipe and charged the officer. Bonnee was dead at the scene.

The 25-year-old Davis, a sheriff’s deputy for 3 1/2 years, remains on paid administrative leave while an investigation of the shooting is completed.

This recording is incomplete after the shots are fired you then hear the woman yelling again why did it suddenly cut off? You can hear her as Billy “what happened to you” and him calmly say “dogs”
